Week 12 Story: The Competition

Bam! Just like that everything was gone. A bead of sweat dripped from Alex's forehead.  "How can it be? I don't understand. I bet everything. My career, my money, my things..." Alex didn't know if he was going to cry or scream in frustration. He was in complete and total shock.  You might be wondering what happened to Alex Smith. Why would he lose everything? What could possible happen to someone to where they would lose everything? Within one day Alex went from working in the kitchen of a five star restaurant to working in a dump of a restaurant.  It all started at 3:00pm on Friday. Alex was preparing his kitchen, cutting vegetables, marinating meat, talking to his team of chefs about how crowed they were expecting the restaurant to be that night. While Alex was speaking to his team of chefs, Randy Augustine strolled in.  Randy was Alex's biggest competitor and head chef and the restaurant across the street and Randy always loved to tau...

His school became filled with dust and cob webs without students. Drona was incredibly sad but more than anything he became filled with anger. Drupada was now his enemy. One day an old sage approached Drona and let him know about a group...

Week 6 Story: Hi, my name is Ravana.

UPDATED Version of this story can be found here . February 9, 2018 Hi, my name is Ravana. Some might know me as the demon king, because that's my nickname. I don't like it when people call me that though. It triggers the rage that lives deep inside of me. Some people say I live with multiple personalities disorder. I don't see it though. My therapist says it's like I have ten different brains all telling me to do different things and twenty arms grabbing in different directions. Sometimes I have bad days and sometimes I have good days, like today. My therapists tells me that when one of my others brains take over the main personality of Ravana, me falls into a deep sleep so I don't know what my body is doing. My therapist told me to keep a journal of my thoughts when I'm me. Or rather when the other brains aren't taking over. So here it is. Today marks two weeks since I served my 10 year penance in training to learn how to control my personalit...

Week 4 Story: Sita and Rama as College Students

Sita and Rama were madly in love. But there was always one thing that got in the way, school. Every day Rama would talk to Sita about how much he wished he could spend every second with her. Sita agreed but sometimes she thought he was a little overbearing. Sita and Rama spent hours together every week, but considering that they were both college students they spent most of their time together studying. On the weekends they would occasionally go to dinner together or watch a movie. Sita was very involved in her schoolwork. She was in a lot of campus clubs and activities, while Rama tended to just hangout with his friends, especially his best friend Lakshmana. Sita didn't know why but she was still madly in love with Rama, despite their obvious differences in character and work ethic. Rama was doing so badly in school that the university even threatened to kick him out. Sita didn't understand why he was doing so badly even though the majority of the time they hung out toge...

Week 3 Story: The Encounter with the Beast

On a sunny and warm Sunday morning, Brothers Harry and Henry were taking a nice walk with Harry's wife in a neighborhood next to theirs. They talked and laughed like any family members would do on a leisure filled Sunday morning. In the distance Harry's wife noticed something weird. A patch in the sky was gloomy and black, unlike the sky all above them. Curiously, Harry, Henry and Harry's wife walked towards the direction of the dark patch in the sky. The weather became chilly and gave them all goose bumps. Something was off. It was as if sadness and death has taken over the area that was just under the dark sky. But the three were still intrigued so they continued to walk towards the dark sky. Suddenly there was a loud booming noise and out from a patch of trees a creature slowly emerged and its bright red eyes stared straight at them. "Don't move..." whispered Henry. "We need to run..." Harry whispered back. From the shock of seeing the...

Every day the young sisters would giggle and snicker as they watched the pond. One day, as Turtle was fast asleep with his head under a rock he was woken up by the giggling of the two young sisters. This was the seventh day in a row that the sisters had woken them up by their loud and high pitched noises. Turtle had had enough. Turtle slowly swam over to the side of the pond where Hazel and Molly were skipping and singing and made a small splashing noise with his front legs in the water. Hazel asked Molly, "What was that?" Molly answer...
