Famous Last Words: Prioritizing Is Key

During week 6 of this semester I learned how useful prioritizing tasks my tasks are. This semester has seemed to be a lot more work than I have ever had. This semester marks the first semester of my senior year, which is too crazy to even think about.  For me, it is important to remember that even when I have a busy week and I feel like I am drowning, a simple "To Do" list can help organize my life and make me feel so much better. Normally I make lists every week with what I need to get accomplished every day of the week, but during week 6 it was important that I got everything for the week and weekend completed by Thursday.  On Thursday I had a friend coming in town from six hours away to spend the weekend with me. I knew I was going to be stressed out if I had to think about my homework I was not doing of the homework I needed to get done before week 7. Luckily, I know how to prioritize my work and I was able to finish everything before Thursday night! ...

Tech Tip: Announcements Email

During the first week of class I subscribed to the announcements email because Laura suggested that we subscribe. The subscription to announcement emails are really helpful because the first thing I do when I wake up in the morning is check my email. I check my email in the morning because it starts to get me thinking about everything that I need to do for the day and sometimes that includes tasks I need to complete for Indian Epics. Since I work a week ahead in this course it is helpful to look at the announcements double check and make sure that I completed everything that I needed to do the week before and double check that I turned everything in that I was supposed to turn in. Week 6 Story: Hi, my name is Ravana.

UPDATED Version of this story can be found here . February 9, 2018 Hi, my name is Ravana. Some might know me as the demon king, because that's my nickname. I don't like it when people call me that though. It triggers the rage that lives deep inside of me. Some people say I live with multiple personalities disorder. I don't see it though. My therapist says it's like I have ten different brains all telling me to do different things and twenty arms grabbing in different directions. Sometimes I have bad days and sometimes I have good days, like today. My therapists tells me that when one of my others brains take over the main personality of Ravana, me falls into a deep sleep so I don't know what my body is doing. My therapist told me to keep a journal of my thoughts when I'm me. Or rather when the other brains aren't taking over. So here it is. Today marks two weeks since I served my 10 year penance in training to learn how to control my personalit...
