So far, I have really enjoyed the layout of this online course. It is unlike any other online course I have taken, which honestly makes it more interesting.
I am looking forward to the reading and storytelling portions of our assignments every week. I don't have a lot of free time to read expect for when I read for class so I am excited to read new and interesting material and then reflect on it in my own stories.
In the past I have taken writing for PR online and PR publications online (which is where I learned how to use Photoshop and InDesign) and something that those classes and Indian Epics have in common with each other is writing blog posts and reflecting on what I have learned in the classes. I think this is a really useful way to keep track of what people are actually learning throughout the semester and another bonus is that I can pop my Indian Epic's blog link onto my portfolio website when this class is finished.
I think I am most intrigued by the extra credit assignments. I know I will be finding time for them every week. The extra credit assignments that I am most excited about are the growth mindset assignments and the Wikipedia trails assignments.

Oh, how great that you already have a Portfolio going, Chelsea: that is really good to hear! There are some majors that are really focused on students showing their work, performances, etc., which is something I wish ALL departments would do. And listen, just out of curiosity, did you take the PRPubs course with Adam Croom? As you can guess, I am a huge fan of what he is doing at OU. It is thanks to Adam that we have the Create.ou.edu project where people can get their own domains. Very exciting stuff, and so useful for ANY student, especially someone going into a creative field like PR.
